Phillip Fraas is a retired senior attorney with over 28 years experience in assisting agribusiness companies and trade groups, farmers, and renewable energy businesses in dealing with federal rules and programs.

 

His practice focused on agriculture and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) matters.  Over his 28 years of practice in this area, he has represented businesses in diverse sectors including food and agriculture, farming, ranching, and biomass-based renewable energy.  He also represented associations including farm credit institutions and agriculture trade associations.

 

In addition to representing his clients in federal court and administrative law tribunals (including USDA’s National Appeals Division), his scope of practice included analysis of regulations, drafting of legislation, and lobbying before Congress and the Executive Branch agencies.
